I think this cartoon from the September 10th New Yorker Magazine says it all.

While I know that it is not all Bobby Valentine’s fault and we have learned that Theo Epstein needs to take his share of the responsibility, I don’t think Bobby will be around next year.  He will join Adrian, Carl, and Josh.
